Bessa Simons

Bessa Simons is a forty year industry veteran who has played with all the big names in Ghana. He was a member of the Osibisa group during his stay in London and still works with the group on shows. Bessa is still an active performer and will be hitting the stage with The Bessa Band.

Pat Thomas

Pat Thomas is a Ghanaian vocalist and songwriter. He is widely known for his work in highlife bands of Ebo Taylor. Also known as the Golden Voice of Africa, he continues to tour the world performing his highlife classics with the Kwashibu Area Band.

Papa Andy

Papa Andy, has been in the industry for 30 years and over with four albums and currently working on his fifth. Along with his band Krikedeke, they play reggae, highlife and world music, across Ghana.

DJ Black

DJ Black is one of Ghana’s most respected and awarded DJ’s. Starting his career in 1993 he’s built a solid career as an event DJ, MC and radio king ping on his Open House Party.

He’s also very well known for his  mixtapes as well as being the official DJ’s for iconic Hip-lifers like VIP, Bukbak, Obrafuo, etc during his break-out years. 

Santrofi

Santrofi is a new, dynamic collective of celebrated young musicians from Ghana’s music scene. Through their unique sound they celebrate classic highlife music in all its diverse variants and assimilated styles from early period Afro-Cuban and calypso strains to funky soul workouts and the Nigerian influences of Afrobeat and juju grooves. In the last few years they’ve toured the world brining the exciting sounds of highlife to new audiences.

The Band FRA!

FRA! is a music ensemble from Accra. Your favourite afrocentric fusion act on an eclectic mission to redefine live music wherever they find themselves in the world. The band consists of young people from different backgrounds united by one language; the language of music. The name “Fra” comes from the Akan word which means “mix” and this is a reference to the elements of fusion which is found in their music. Described popularly as the funkiest Ghanaian band, the music the band produces is hinged on a cocktail of musical backgrounds bound in their afrocentric heritage.

SENKULIVE

SENKULIVE is a group of young musicians blending funky guitars and very root songs. Their genre cuts across Ghanaian Traditional music with the fusion of soul music, afro-funk, highlife, hip-life, rap music and afro beats. Their exhilarating stage performances highlight a repertoire that keeps their audience on the up and moving for hours!

The Safoa Band

A musical band from Ghana, representing pure African vibes. The 5 member ensemble have played over a decade across West Africa alongside many iconic Ghanaian singers. As the official house band for UTV’s Showbiz United, they’re fast becoming Ghana’s favourite for high profile events across the country. The Safoa Band have numerous credits on collaborations with Trigmatic on The 8th Element Album.
